Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico was born to an adored family of musicians. She spent the majority of her early years listening to classical music Boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic tunes and old classical pieces. Ana has a passion for the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. At the age 16, she began singing and learning music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to provide her with more intense vocal instruction. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. While a student, and when she was a professional young within Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choruses. When she moved from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she performed for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. Ana is involved in a variety of local projects and is a teacher and performer because of her love for music and arts. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher at The Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able to share with others her passion for the tradition of Latin American music. She hopes this can inspire younger generations to keep the tradition alive.
